this jobs bill is a waist of time and money. first of all if you give me a 5000 dollar tax credit my work will fire all the older people and replace them with younger people. we dont need tax gimmicks. we need customers. the only way to fix this economy is to cut everybodys taxes in half. if i had a few hundred dollars more a check i would spend it. if i chose to save it, banks would have more money to lend. what is the difference between the feds interest rate and tax rates. if you raise them economy slows. if you lower them economy speeds up. your running out of time. cuts must be made while people have jobs and can spend it. i am telling you its getting much worse out there. ahh if a goverment employee or somebody you know can miss 6 to 8 weeks on vacation and another 10 to 20 sick days a year. and payed hollidays. you are not that important. the redundancy nec to maintain that many employees out that much is rediculous.
I would like to thank you for not voting yes on the recent unemployment extension bill. When I am homeless because I can’t pay my bills because there are NO jobs ANYWHERE I will thank you very much. I am struggling to survive with NO help from this USELESS government. I have been unemployed for six months now and I’m just about out of benefits … now you go and do this. You must remember that just because you have millions in the bank and at your disposal doesn’t mean every Tom, Dick, or Harry has this type of money. I realize that you are worried about the deficit right now … but you have half of the entire country about to become homeless and when that happens then you will have a lot worse problem on your hands .. like how to keep people from rioting and looting all because you said no to the entire unemployed country. Again I just wanted to say thanks for putting my family and me on the street here in the coming months.
